Merton named one of London’s Smartest Boroughs
Merton has been recognised as the “standout performer” in London for A-level results this year, with over 40% of students achieving A/A* grades.
This marks a 3.6% improvement from last year, the biggest improvement seen in any of the capital’s 32 boroughs.
Merton’s young people continue to outperform both the national and London average, bucking national trends to achieve top grades year after year. This year’s T-Level results in Merton also outperformed the rest of the country with a 100% pass rate, and GSCE results were once again some of the highest in London.
